Under Realm Mobile Testing is Live on iOS & Android

We’ve been wanting this update for a long time: Under Realm is now playable on mobile.

As of today, we’ve opened 500 testing slots across iOS and Android so you can try the game on your phone and help us figure out what needs work before full launch.

This post is a quick rundown of what this test is, what to expect, and how to join.

Why Mobile Matters for Under Realm

Under Realm started on desktop web browser so we can bring the game quicker life. It’s been almost one year and we’ve heard from a lot of you that:

  • You want to squeeze in matches on commutes, breaks, or late at night
  • You don’t always have access to a gaming PC or laptop
  • You’d like to manage decks, check quests, and experiment with builds on the go

So this test is our first real step toward making the game feel natural on a mobile device.

What This Mobile Test Includes

This isn’t a “full launch” yet. It’s a live test build running on:

  • iOS via TestFlight
  • Android via Google Play (open test)
  • Limited to 500 total slots

Inside the build, you’ll be able to:

  • Log in and sync with your existing account
  • Play matches on mobile
  • Access your cards and decks
  • Try the current UI/UX for touch controls

We’re using this phase to check:

  • Performance on different devices
  • Touch input feel (dragging cards, confirming actions, targeting, etc.)
  • Text readability and layout on smaller screens
  • Any weird bugs specific to mobile (crashes, stuck screens, visual glitches)

You’ll probably run into rough edges and that’s expected, and honestly, that’s why we need you here early.

How to Join the Test

If there are still slots left, you can jump in here:

Once you’re in:

  1. Download and install the app
  2. Log in with your usual Under Realm credentials
  3. Play a few matches, try building or editing decks, and poke around the menus
  4. Note anything that feels off, especially controls, layout, or performance

If the links say the test is full, that just means we’ve hit the 500-tester cap for this round. We’ll open more waves later as we stabilize things.

What Kind of Feedback Helps Most

If you have time to share feedback, these are the things we care about most right now:

  • Device + OS: e.g., “Android 9 on Samsung A50” or “iPhone 13, iOS 18.x”
  • Where it breaks: crash moments, stuck states, buttons not responding
  • Deckbuilding / card interactions: hard to tap, mis-clicks, awkward scroll areas
  • Readability: text too small, UI elements overlapping, numbers unclear
  • Flow: anything that feels slower or more confusing than on desktop

Screenshots or short screen recordings help a lot. You can drop feedback in our Discord or reply directly on X — whatever’s easiest.

What Happens After This Test

This mobile test is one step on the path toward our full mobile launch.

Based on how this wave goes, we’ll:

  • Fix crashes and high-priority bugs
  • Adjust layouts and sizing for common devices
  • Tweak controls and interaction patterns
  • Open more slots or widen access when it feels stable enough

We’ll share progress in future devlogs so you can see how your feedback shapes the mobile build over time.

If you join this round: thank you for helping us push Under Realm onto phones in a way that actually feels good to play.

If you miss this wave, there will be more chances as we get closer to launch.

See you in the Realm, now in your pocket.
